The Strayhorn Educational Outreach Ministry will provide experiences and opportunities that will lead program participants from educational failure to educational success, from economic dependence to self-reliance, from feelings of hopelessness to confidence in possibilities for achievement, and ultimately from joblessness to employability. These experiences/opportunities may include (but are not limited to) the following:
• Elementary and Secondary Seminars for Students and Parents
• SAT Preparation Sessions
• The Marshall Heights Community Development Organization (MHCDO)
• Scholarship- Investment Program (SIP)
• Community Homework/Tutorial Center
• Cultural Enrichment Activities
• Opportunities for Community/Volunteer Services
• Character Development Contest & Workshops
• Job Readiness Program
• Job Fair
• College Tours
• College Fairs
• Adult Basic Education
• Computer Literacy Classes
